Clara, a lonely nurse from the outskirts of Sao Paulo, is hired by mysterious and wealthy Ana as the nanny for her unborn child. The two women develop a strong bond, but a fateful night changes their plans.

Juliana Rojas and Marco Dutra graduated in cinema from the Sao Paulo University. They wrote and directed several short films such as The White Sheet (2004), selected at the Cinefondation in Cannes, where A Stem won the Discovery award at the Critics' Week in 2007 and their first feature Hard Labor, premiered at Un Certain Regard in 2011 and won the Citizen Kane award in Sitges. Juliana also directed Necropolis Symphony (2014) and Marco signed When I Was Alive (2014) and The Silence of the Sky (2016). He's currently in postproduction on the HBO series, El Hipnotizador. They are both part of the collective group Filmes do Caixote.
